Our History

ABOUT

Methodist Church Hinjewadi

It was very insignificant, while the first Home Bible study group began in the Wakad area on 7th June 2016. God was faithful to bringing believers to meet regularly on alternate Tuesdays to meditate on the values and principles of the Biblical families and pray for one another. Nearly after one year, the Lord gave us the Macedonian call, to come and help the youngsters working in MNCS to bring them back into the sheepfold. As Jesus rightly said in Jn.10:16, ‘I have other sheep, too. . . I must bring them also. They too will listen to my voice. Hence, it was one of the goals and objectives of MTC, Khadki church to start a worship service in the developing Hinjewadi-Wakad area among the migrated Christians. God the Father is the source of all good and perfect gifts that comes to us. Amen.

Our Mission

” To seek and to save the lost, to spread scriptural holiness, and to transform all peoples and Nations through the gospel of Jesus Christ. To aid the Church in fulfilling its divine Commission” ” we walk not by sight, nor by power, but by my Spirit says the Lord of Hosts,” “Looking back with praise”,” Looking ahead with faith”.

What We Believe

Trinity

We believe that the one God eternally exists in three Persons: The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit; and that these three are one God, co-equal and co-eternal, having precisely the same nature and attributes

Salvation

Salvation is given wholly by God through His Son Jesus Christ. Salvation is a gift created in our hearts by the Holy Spirit in the hearing of the Gospel message of Jesus: His life, death, resurrection and forgiveness for our sin.

Second coming

We believe in the second coming of Christ. His return from heaven will be personal, visible and glorious, a blessed hope for which we should constantly watch and pray.

The Bible

We believe that the Bible, consisting of the 66 books of the Old and New Testament, is the infallible authority, the Word of God, our only rule of faith and practice.
